RKIVED is built to be usable by everyone, regardless of ability. We design mobile-first with large touch targets, clear typography, and intuitive navigation. Accessibility is an ongoing journey, and we continuously improve based on user feedback.
RKIVED is designed primarily for mobile devices. Our interface uses large, easy-to-tap buttons (minimum 44px touch targets), clear visual hierarchy, and gesture-based navigation that feels natural on touch screens.
RKIVED supports both light and dark themes. The app follows your system preference by default and can be manually toggled in Settings. Dark mode reduces eye strain in low-light environments and conserves battery on OLED screens.
We use the Inter font family for readability across all screen sizes. Text sizes meet WCAG AA contrast ratios. Body text is sized at 14px minimum for comfortable reading on mobile devices.
All interactive elements have adequate spacing to prevent accidental taps. The camera-based box creation flow minimizes the number of taps needed to record a box. Voice notes can be used as an alternative to typing for box contents.
We are actively working to improve screen reader support, keyboard navigation, and alternative text for images. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please report it to support@rkived.com and we will prioritize addressing it.
