RKIVED ("we," "us," or "our") operates the RKIVED mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• • Account Information: Email address when you create an account, and authentication provider details (Google, Apple).
• • Box Data: Photos you upload, box names, contents, room assignments, locations, and notes you voluntarily provide.
• • Usage Data: How you interact with the app — features used, pages visited, and packing activity.
• • Device Data: Device type, operating system version, and anonymous identifiers for app functionality.

3. How Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption both in transit (TLS) and at rest. Photos and box records are associated with your account and accessible only by you. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Cloud Backup & Data Security

RKIVED automatically backs up your box data and photos to the cloud as part of the service. This ensures your moving archive is preserved even if you change devices. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption and access controls. While we take reasonable precautions, no electronic storage method is 100% secure.

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services for cloud infrastructure, authentication, and optional AI-powered photo analysis. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and have their own privacy policies. AI analysis of your photos is opt-in and processed transiently.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• • Access your personal data stored in RKIVED
• • Export your box data and photos at any time
• • Correct inaccurate information
• • Delete individual boxes, photos, or your entire account
• • Withdraw consent for optional features (such as AI analysis)

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your RKIVED account at any time from the Settings page within the app. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible — all your boxes, photos, contents, and associated data will be permanently removed from our servers. This process may take up to 30 days to complete across all backup systems.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted. We may retain anonymized, aggregate usage statistics for service improvement that cannot be linked back to you.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes within the app. Continued use of RKIVED after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
